CCPYDC would like to congratulate its graduating high school student representatives, Sarah-Filippi-Field and Tyler Kott!
Sarah Filippi-Field, who has served on the Coalition for two years, recently graduated from Vineland High School. She worked with the Vineland Breakout Group and assisted the Group’s Realities of Technology Campaign. She aided in conducting focus groups, researching the legal implications of sexting, and presented her research to other high school students, asking them to create a PSA from the information she gathered. Sarah will be attending Rutgers University-Camden in the fall. She continues her commitment to CCPYDC by volunteering at least once a week at WRI to help move the Coalition forward. Thank you Sarah!
Tyler Kott, the County Breakout Group student representative, recently graduated from Cumberland Regional High School. He joined the Coalition in September 2015 and helped with the County Breakout Group’s Gun Safety and Violence Awareness efforts. He served on the Gun Safety and Violence Awareness High School Public Service Announcement Contest Sub-Committee, providing helpful insight into what would be the best strategy to engage high school students. Tyler will be attending Rutgers University-New Brunswick in the fall. We will miss Tyler, but he has recruited a fellow Cumberland Regional High School student to take his place on the County Breakout Group. Thanks for all your help!
